Cambridge

I was in the fourth oldest city in the world, Cambridge. Me and a couple of friends followed some people from the university when they arranged a trip to Cambridge with a guide. His name is Lee and was really nice. He took all of ours phone number and gave us his number in case we get lost or something. We took a train from Brighton to London and changes there to Cambridge. Because of the delays , we had to change a bus in London to another place where we could take the train to Cambridge.
When we arrived, our guide (which isn't actually a real guide because it was his first time in Cambridge) showed us some places we could go and eat before we went puddling. It was so much fun puddling. We were about 16 people on that trip and we split up in 3 groups and hired 3 boats. My group was the funniest one because nobody could paddle and our boat was circulating all the time. The hour we hired the boat was spoiled on trying to make the boat go straight. But we had a really good time. We were laughing all the time and once we were about to fall off the boat because we smashed with a wall at the side of the river. After that we went to Saint John's College, which we had to pay to visit. I think it's pretty strange because it's a museum and a college. The students who lives there must be really annoyed by all the tourists that come and visit. Every teacher there wears strange black coat with a big red knitted cap. It reminds me of the movie Harry Potter, which was made in Cambridge. Then we took a lot of pictures and went on to Castle Mound, which is not a castle but a big hill. There used to be a castle there a couple of hundred years ago but it was destroyed. After that we went to town and bought some cards and souvenirs, to finally return to a pub we were supposed to meet for some tea before we went back home.
Cambridge is a nice city to visit but not a city for me. It was full of old building which is good if you like old architecture and history, but I wouldn't want to live in a place like that for a longer time.
